Many women desire to have a bigger breast size due to various reasons. These reasons include, increasing self esteem, feeling desirable, comfort and also for physical appearance. For some time, people thought that only implant surgery could achieve bigger breast size, but, it is now clear that foods and supplements can be used to achieve it. Using foods and supplements is proving to be a safer option than using surgery. These foods and supplements contain estrogen which promotes breast growth.

The foods that you can eat to increase your breast size can be divided into different groups. One such group is fruits and vegetables. Eating plenty of this will improve your general health and also promote breast growth due to the high content of fiber found in them. Examples include; apples, plums, papaya, pumpkins, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and yams. In addition, you need health fats in your diet. These healthy fats are known as mono-saturated fats. Examples of these fats include; oils found in seeds such as linseeds, sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds. Other sources of fats include; olive and olive oil, avocado and avocado oil, oats and raw nuts.

There are also herbs that you can eat to increase breast size. These herbs can be taken in the form of capsules or put in your tea. Examples of these are;
• Fenugreek – used for a variety of functions such as increasing size. It also aids in production of milk for nursing mothers.
• Saw palmetto – is used to stimulate tissue and increase its size.
• Wild yam – which is also used for promoting healthy tissue.
• Fennel – used to increase size and aids in production of milk for nursing mothers.
In addition to the above, certain spices and herbs are also used for this purpose. These spices and herbs are however not taken in form of capsules but are instead used to cook food. Examples of these include; sage, turmeric, pepper, oregano, ginger, thyme and cloves.

You should also eat foods rich in proteins in order to promote breast growth. This includes; fish, meat, and eggs. In addition, your diet should have dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream. Soy is also very important. However, it is important to note that, you cannot introduce all these foods into your system at a go. You need to make the change gradually, in order to see how your system adjusts and also to keep track of changes in your breast size. Gradual introduction of foods will also help you know which foods you could be allergic to.

Breast Implants for Natural Looking Results

The search for natural looking breast implants can usually begin with a patient looking at the types, then imagining what you will look like following the procedure, and how big is too big. Overall, the biggest concern you will have, though, is whether your figure will look natural.

Your first stop is usually going to be looking at the various types of implants available – saline or silicone. Some argue that saline is safer because saline is a natural substance in your body. Many are unwavering on silicone’s ability at making a more natural looking and feeling breast.

Also, smooth or textured? The decision to go with smooth or textured surfaces with regard to a natural looking result depends on the concern you have about getting a scar capsule surrounding the breast implant, called capsular contracture. It is this scarring that can result in hard or malformed breasts.

The textured ones tend to create a kind of porous surface to which the tissue can adhere, thus preventing the formation of a scar capsule. As you consider shape, you can be assured that both the round and the teardrop shape have been shown in testing to have little to no aesthetic difference.

When thinking about the cosmetic surgery procedure, incision placement is extremely important. There are three types of incisions.

1 – The first is peri-areolar, or around the areola, which is the most common. Keep in mind that a few ducts may be cut during this procedure, but that should not stop your ability to breastfeed. Many women have successfully nursed after augmentation surgery. This incision heals well, and is not readily visible, due to its proximity to the whiter skin adjacent to the areola.

2 – The second incision type is beneath the breast, called inframammary. Beneath the fold makes for an imperceptible incision. The breast tissue is not affected at all, and heals quite well.

3 – The third approach is the transaxillary approach, or under the arm. For surgeons, they are more difficult of an approach due to the inability to see the insertion point; however, the incision is most certainly away from the breast area, and the only notable issue following surgery aside from the normal recovery issues associated with an enhancement surgery is the inability to shave in the area of the incision until completely healed.

Whether you decide to go over the muscle or under the muscle will be the next decision to make. You are less likely to have any scar capsule with a textured implant over the muscle, subglandular. If you are a B cup or larger, a natural look will be achieved by going over the muscle, and those results will be reflected a few weeks following surgery. With a smooth one over the muscle, however, there is an increased rate of scar capsule occurrence, and thinner women may be more susceptible to being able to see the edges of the implant through the skin.

When a subpectoral, or under the muscle, approach is taken, smooth implants will ensure a low occurrence of capsular contracture. Thinner women will see a more robust look, as the muscle will help to add to the bulk, and the edge of the implants is unseen and a more natural look is achieved. The recovery, however, is considerably lengthier. The breasts will likely not settle into their final shape for several months, especially if engaging in exercise.

Whatever approach you choose, please make sure you investigate all aspects thoroughly prior to making your final decision.

Breast Enlargement ? What You Absolutely Must Consider When Selecting A Surgeon

Types of implants

A breast implant is a silicone shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution known as saline.

Because of concerns that there is insufficient information demonstrating the safety of silicone gel-filled breast implants, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that new gel-filled implants, at the present time, should be available only to women participating in approved studies. Some women requiring replacement of the implants may also be eligible to participate in the study.

Saline-filled implants continue to be available to breast augmentation patients on an unrestricted basis, pending further FDA review. You should ask your doctor more about the specifics of the FDA decisions.

The type of incision can also categorize these implants.

1) In the breast fold: This hides the scar well should it thicken. It provides the easiest and safest approach for the surgeon and is the one most commonly used. An excellent surgeon should be able to do the surgery through an incision measuring exactly one inch.

2) Around the nipple: This is often a very thin scar; if not, it will be very visible. The biggest risk of employing this incision is loss of sensation in the nipple that can occur up to 50% of the time.

3) In the axilla: This is a popular means of access when the implant is put under the muscle, but it can also be used for over the muscle. One of the implications of a scar in this area is that if it thickens, raising your arm on the beach or in a low cut gown will be a dead giveaway that you have implants. This incision also makes proper placement of the implant very difficult. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to see patients with implants that were placed too high on the chest because of this approach.

4) Through the navel: The surgery is performed through a long tube called an endoscope. While the scar may be imperceptible, it is nearly impossible to dissect a large enough pocket for placement of the implant in this manner. Therefore, the method used is creation of the space by blowing a dissecting balloon that tears open the area. This does not create a large enough pocket for the implant, so that its outline can be seen, producing a very unaesthetic appearance. If bleeding should occur, stopping it can be very difficult. Furthermore, because the implant can be abraded and weakened when pushed through the endoscope, the implant manufacturers will not guarantee their products in the event of leakage.

After the operation

Your breasts will be wrapped with gauze bandage as well as a tighter bandage for protection and support after breast augmentation surgery. You also may have drainage tubes coming out of the incision for several days, to help drain some of the excess fluid. It is important to take the medication prescribed to you by your doctor. Someone will need to drive you home, and you may need assistance at home over the next couple of days.
